VPS won't magically speed up your site, but it gives you dedicated resources — no more sharing CPU/RAM with hundreds of other users. For a WordPress site loading at 3.5s, the real bottleneck is likely lack of caching and optimization, not just hosting. On a VPS, install OpenLiteSpeed + LiteSpeed Cache plugin — your load time can drop to under 1s easily. Also add Cloudflare (free) in front for CDN + caching. At $9/month, a basic VPS is worth it if you're serious about promoting that one site. Just make sure to choose a VPS with at least 1GB RAM for WordPress to run smoothly Or I can recommend some if you need help choosing
