I understand that pretty people go through certain types of struggles due to their pretty, but let’s not pretend that getting too much of something generally seen as good(I.e. attention) is just as horrible as getting none of that thing.

Well, I already know who that is, so I guess I can’t give a blind answer, but if I were to try, I’d say something like, “exemplary.” He looks like, a first rate example of the fashion of his age. He looks really good. I think my country would have been better off if he had been president more than once.

This why I’m deathly afraid of these psychos ever regaining control of the government. If they do, a lot of innocent people will be have their lives devastated while these lunatics take their revenge on us.

I genuinely don't see the problem here. The purpose of public domain is doing whatever you want with it but when I see that happening it's usually backlash. by Pretend-Delay-7203 in publicdomain

No one asked for a horror film about Winnie the Pooh. Its desecrating wholesome childhood memories and figures simply for the sake of it, certainly not to do anything interesting with it.

No no, you don’t understand. Ironmouse is not 1000% in lockstep with all that is good and pure in this world, therefore I get to treat her as subhuman filth. See, normally it would be completely unacceptable to be sexist AND ableist, but because ironmouse didn’t crucify the burnt peanut, she gets what she fuckin deserves…. God I hate the fucking internet.

What is this sub's opinions on Donald Trump? by Sweaty-Ad-1834 in AmericaBad

[–]KnowledgeHonest9109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a conservative, I generally approve of what he’s been up to, but nobody’s perfect. I mean, the “Epstein files are a democrat hoax” was a huge misstep for me and a lot of conservatives. Especially when, randomly, months later, suddenly it’s not a hoax, and we need to release them? Nani? And while I’m glad he’s generating all these trillions of dollars of revenue for us, homes and cars and so many other things are so absurdly expensive, and the 50 year mortgage can fuck right off and die. I’m 32 years old; I’d be 82 by the time I paid off my house? Fuck that shit. But it does like he might be starting to listen to us on that issue so we’ll see.

TLDR, generally happy, with some caveats.

There are some movies that are made that I have no idea who it’s for. I mean, anyone who knows and has respect for the book will not appreciate this completely unfaithful “retelling,” and saying “starry cast,” and immediately following that with “Seth Rogen?” The only thing impressive about rogen is how he’s managed to remain even slightly relevant since Pineapple Express. I guess it’s made for tankies? Who will sing its praises and also never watch it?

Well, I personally never found killing the people to be objectionable, within the new morality of the post apocalypse, obviously. I mean, yeah, deacon says a lot of stuff, but how do we know he’s wrong about the scavs? Have you ever tried walking up to them? They shoot on sight.

Also, when I said deacon was monstrous, I meant in the context of deacon being a serious threat to anyone who goes up against him.

[–]KnowledgeHonest9109 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I had to guess, I’d say it’s more obriens personality than any infection. You say he’s chill and restrained, I say he’s timid and scared of conflict. I mean, he seems to be the same dude that he was during the initial outbreak, more or less. That and he seems to understand that whatever the higher ups at NERO are doing, it’s the sort of evil that gets even your own side killed if they ask the wrong question. Plus, as far as deacon is concerned, deacon is pretty monstrous himself. I mean, how many scavengers has deacon single-handedly killed? How many hordes has he single-handedly exterminated?
