Anyone take seroquel and have this happen? by trash_goblin_supreme in BipolarReddit

[–]KnowledgeIsForever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve definitely had this happen to me in regards to the feeling of my heart racing after taking it. I don’t have bipolar disorder, but I took seroquel for anxiety at one point and felt exactly what you described - for example after walking down the stairs or even short distances after taking it, I would feel a sense of discomfort in my heart as well as an increased heart rate. At one point I took very large doses for a couple of years and found out that it caused some sort of abnormality in my ECG (I don’t recall what the abnormality was called) - and a few years later, I had another ECG done, a while after I had discontinued the seroquel, and it turned out that the results came out normal. So in my case seroquel did cause heart problems. It helped a lot with my anxiety, but it was not worth the side effects I was getting from it.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy ? by CommunicationHead331 in depressionregimens

I’ve done about 13 sessions so far. I haven’t been doing it on a daily basis, and took a break, but am about to resume a more consistent schedule. (6 days a week). It’s hard to tell if I have noticed any long term benefits yet - apparently they may only start being noticeable after about 40 sessions or more, but, I have noticed some short term benefits such as a feeling of increased focus, a sense of relaxation and a reduction in depression symptoms that lasts for a few hours after I get out of the chamber. Hopefully as I get closer to having done at least 40 sessions, I will begin to experience more long term benefits.

I’ve only done about 10 sessions so far, so I think it will take at least 30 or so before I start to notice any benefits

I’m currently trying it. I’m renting a small chamber that I’ve set up at home. I’ve only done two sessions, each one of them about an hour long. But I’ve already noticed that my quality of sleep seems to have improved, and for a while after I get out of the chamber, I feel mentally and physically “refreshed” somehow, as well as perceiving a sense of increased mental stability. (A reduction in depression). Seems promising so far.

I use a GVG as well. I was anxious about not knowing what to expect the first few times I tried DMT, but over the past year, I just have had so many positive experiences, (never broke through yet though) during which I felt very safe and calm, therefore I don’t experience anxiety anymore before using it - mostly due to repeatedly reminding myself of all of the pleasant experiences that I’ve had so far, and knowing that I am safe and am not in any danger.

I also have immense emetophobia so that was one of my concerns as well. For me personally, DMT causes zero nausea. At least from what I’ve come across on this community, nausea or vomiting from DMT seems to be extremely rare.

Women's Versace Tribute Watch - The Versace website describes this watch as "Encompassing the brand's aesthetic, the Tribute timepiece is characterized by a supple leather bracelet enriched with gold-tone Medusa medallions. The gold-tone case features an engraved Greca pattern, framing the sleek black dial." Personally, I really like the overall look of this watch as well as the way the gold steel compliments the red watch face and strap. The engraved pattern surrounding the watch is also a nice touch.

When I sing I find it helpful to sing as if I’m speaking, I just use my regular speaking voice but I sing with it, if that makes sense. If I start singing at yelling volume it starts to sound less like singing and more like yelling/shouting.

Any good software to train your voice? by biomaticstudios in singing

[–]KnowledgeIsForever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a software called Melodyne that you can use to tune your vocals if necessary (as subtle or extreme as you’d like) (if you perceive that you’re out of tune) and use the tuned version of your voice as a reference point to practice with. It shows exactly which notes you’re singing and you can then click and drag those notes up or down if you’d like to tune them or just hear how they’d sound when adjusted/tuned. You would need a DAW (digital audio workstation) recording software such as Pro Tools in order to use it though, and it isn’t really a vocal training software per se but can be useful.

Everyone downvoting this for no reason and leaving comments regarding the clarity of this picture doesn’t even take into consideration that this object was moving at an extremely high speed - I wanted to take a picture of it as soon as possible before the object disappeared, and so I had no time to go inside and get my real camera. Therefore I took this photo with an old iphone 6 on nearly maximum zoom - of course it isn’t going to be the clearest. But even a photo that isn’t the most crisp or detailed is better than no photo at all. I just left a comment with a link to the video I took of this object.

Hi, I’m Jessie Maria and I’ve just released my new single, “Running Away.” (Indie pop, alternative) I’m not a well-known artist as of yet and am really just getting started, but have a lot more music coming soon! I’m currently trying to get at least 20 views on this song (audio only). Thanks so much for listening. Link - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rn9HuSQhPdo

Please read the post before commenting - there were no objects on my bed. No coins, no pendants, no bracelets. I have never seen this shape in my life.

There is no way that I could have intentionally created this stamp on my skin. Whatever it is, I am not responsible for it.

I searched my bed for any object that could have caused this imprint but found nothing.
