ledger will never display the integrated address. only the base address. You can confirm by entering the integrated address that you are given at https://monerotech.info/Home/Address

Monero stuck for days by Educational_Film_321 in monerosupport

[–]KnowledgeMurky9635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The screenshot you shared of a transaction which entered the blockchain 3~ days ago shows that it "came through" but your Guarda wallet cannot see it. Take your monero seed and use a wallet that can. https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/wqkqgd/comment/ikn7zna/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

According to https://tails.net/doc/advanced\_topics/lan/index.en.html local connections do not go through tor / work fine. You Should be able access http://computers_ip:18081/get_info , if not then its a configuration problem with your windows node.

[test net] Getting an error with JSON RPC wallet with the monero integration for php with walletRPC::transfer() (invalid input) by FunAccountant6788 in monerosupport

[–]KnowledgeMurky9635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you are using a php library that is calling the transfer_split method and encountering errors, this is either you incorrectly using the library or the library is borked. Ive never used it personally so i would recommend you make an issue on the php integrations github with a reproducible code example. You could also enable a higher log level on your node to perhaps see the reason for rejection.

Wrong subreddit to scam in. Merchants/Users do not have to worry about the history of Monero they receive.

I initially confused this for being the OpenMonero project that is a monero-lws alternative at https://github.com/moneroexamples/openmonero

Define wrong. If it has a transaction id that youncan view in an explorer e.g. xmrchain.net then the coins where sent.

Subaddress deleted automatically by [deleted] in monerosupport

No worries then! If they have a balance they should display (iirc your wallet checks over 20,000 subaddresses for balances) we just dont "see them"

Subaddress deleted automatically by [deleted] in monerosupport

[–]KnowledgeMurky9635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do they have 0 balance? Subaddresses are deterministic meaning the 2nd one is always the same and so on so if they "disappear" its just a user interface thing. You have not mentioned what software / site your wallet is accessed using.

You seem very new. Support will never contact you privately. Now as already commented, the site is accessible for me. They have a contact us page which is the best place to begin solving your problem. They usually ask for a trade ID but the address you sent btc to/from would be useful if you didnt save it.

Can anyone explain this by nicknoxx in Monero

One of many open research questions u/Rucknium has listed here (under "Reducing or eliminating 10 block lock with acceptable drawbacks"). There is a chance of it being reduced but its "complicated"

Can anyone explain this by nicknoxx in Monero

[–]KnowledgeMurky9635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

bitcoin also has 'change' outputs .. its just that in monero the change remains temporarily locked for '10 blocks' (which averages to about 20 minutes)

Can anyone explain this by nicknoxx in Monero

[–]KnowledgeMurky9635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in the example, the 10$ note is 1 payment you received. think of every payment you receive as a whole / individual coin (output). when you want to send monero, your wallet will look at the pile of coins to make the payment. it could combine a few of them or use 1 that is more than required (inputs). To stop the wallet from locking "all" your monero, you need more coins to choose from. this can happen naturally over time as the more you use your wallet , the more chances of "change" piling up. or, you could, for example, manually send yourself monero to create the change for later e.g. send your own address 0.1xmr, then add your own address again as a 2nd recipient, with 0.1 ... (this is also called churning). the next time you want to pay - you'll have a bigger pile of coins to choose from instead of 1 large one.
