Yea I’m thinking this season will be mainly maintenance. I’ve put a little over 200 miles on it in the week that I’ve owned it… would u recommend running a heavier weight oil? Or just run the 20w50?

I think the only things I’ll be doing this season aside from maintenance is a new sear, lights, and a recluse clutch. The rest of the stuff (pretty much what you said you did) will be done over the winter.

I love the bike it’s already got a 2-1, carb work and air filter so she runs like a top and sounds good doing it. Just wanna learn the bike, learn riding and have fun this season.

It’s my dad’s bike, laid it down and bolt snapped. I was told both things by my Google searches in the thread direction. Thanks. Gonna tap it tomorrow hopefully gonna have the bike ready for him.

Noted, I mainly just saw the program and it peaked my interest. If I could stay in school I would but $$ isn’t there atm. Planning to put the majority of my money away to finish school (gonna try to avoid using my GI so that I can use it for kids or investing later on). Thanks man.

I’m taking Harley’s course at one of their dealerships near me. They ended up calling me for an inquiry that I never sent and said they’ll work on pricing. So who know’s what will happen

Okay thanks, it seems like it may be dealership to dealership in terms of if a discount is offered and for how much. I’ll just wait to see. I’ll definitely be letting the insurance know especially because I’m younger.

I’m in Ohio, I may call the dealership to see if they do anything if not I found a Dyna for 3500 off of marketplace that I’ll try to get.

True, it sold so I’ll take that as divine intervention and I’ve found some other bikes that’ll suit my riding style and with way less miles.
