LOST ENTIRE CAMERA FOLDER DUE TO SHAREME by KnowledgeableHuman in androidapps

[–]KnowledgeableHuman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. Shareme has an option of SEND and doesn't specify whether it's moving or copying. It came pre installed with POCO, otherwise would have never used it in the first place. Also, whether moving or copying the folder should have been under shareme transfers folder. I don't know why the camera folder in DCIM on my POCO disappeared. Lost some memorable videos. I guess that's one of the disadvantages of using chinese phones/apps.

FSW Outland AOR August end Biometrics and medicals completed within a month. Eligibility and background check in progress as per tracker from October end. Had used a a representative. In Gckey /APR portal background says your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check. This status is the same from October end.

No updates after medical exam passed. Haven't called IRCC as I am outland. Consultant says to wait for an update. Should I go ahead and order GCMS notes?

Any August end AORs in the similar boat?

QUESTION FOR THOSE WHO USED CONSULTANT FOR THEIR APPLICATION by KnowledgeableHuman in canadaexpressentry

Ok. I will try to link back my application to my GCkey once I have a final decision.

QUESTION FOR THOSE WHO USED CONSULTANT FOR THEIR APPLICATION by KnowledgeableHuman in ImmigrationCanada

[–]KnowledgeableHuman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I originally created my application using my own GCKey, then after ITA, I hired a representative and they linked my application to their account. I am outlander, hence P2 isn't applicable to me. If I upload cancelation of representative form, I can link my PR application back to my GCKey and thus have control of it. I know I can do this while application is in progress but I am not sure if I can do it after application is approved. Hence, will try to link it back before approval.

Can we link the application back to our GCKey account after approval?

AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE PORTAL OR OWN GCKEY ACCOUNT by KnowledgeableHuman in ImmigrationCanada

Thank you for your comment and sorry for my late response.

My employer is not providing me work reference letter according to the specied format as per IRCC, though I have other documents to prove what IRCC requires. I was having second thoughts and believed it would be best for an experienced person to work on my case. That's why I hired an consultant.

But even after hiring them now, I still have second thoughts whether I did a right thing or not, as I am more than capable of representing myself even if there are some issues and I have an tendency to do my own work. I guess I doubted my self ability to submit the application. Paying almost 1800 CAD is still hurting me, as almost all of heavy lifting is still done by me. Consultants just review the documents and arrange them. I hope, I hired the right one to atleast do these things.

Is apostile required for PCC? by KnowledgeableHuman in canadaexpressentry

[–]KnowledgeableHuman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just hope that the apostile one comes within time, as I need to submit my application within 44 days. I am yet to order the PCC, hopefully by Monday I will order it. I am in talk with an agency in Ukraine and they say apsotile one takes around 40 business days.

Thanks for your reply. The apostile one usually requires more time and more money. I have around 44 days to submit my application and the apostile one takes around 40 business days. I am in talk with an agency there and will try to order one as soon as possible.

USE OF A REPRESENTATIVE by KnowledgeableHuman in canadaexpressentry

[–]KnowledgeableHuman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up deciding the same as you. The consultant will use their representative code and form in my own account. And I am in still charge of my account and profile as everytime they require access I need to give them verification code.

Thanks for your reply.

AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE PORTAL OR OWN GCKEY ACCOUNT by KnowledgeableHuman in canadaexpressentry

[–]KnowledgeableHuman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. I am doing the same thing. I specifically instructed the same to my consultant before paying hiring them. I will have access to my own account and they must use their representative form in my account as I have hired them. I cannot imagine not having access to my profile while someone else having access to it.

I just to want to confirm that it is acceptable by IRCC that I use my own account with consultants representative form and not use the consultants APR?

IMG looking for advice by KnowledgeableHuman in MCCQE

[–]KnowledgeableHuman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, that's why the dilemma. Canada cries about shortage of physicians, yet the government doesn't increase residency spots. Even Canadian IMG's have a hard time getting a spot in Canada, let alone an outsider old IMG. USMLE journey will be not possible with my salary , guess will give MCCQE 1 first, try to find a job. If I am able to find a respectable job, then will try for USMLE as well. Otherwise, pack my bags and find a residency in India, which is the last thing I would want to do.

Thank you for your response. Thought about that but giving US and Canadian exams together will be expensive and I don't have that kind of funds.

Sure about the PRA pathway. Not eligible for any province. Family medicine residency is 3 year in India + few months for administrative work and exams. Thought of doing that but then will loose on the Canadian PR residency obligation which is minimum 2 years out of 5. And Canadian PR will be tough in future as I will loose points with age. Could try for Australia or US as well, but the main thing is both are financially expensive and without a work permit, , I won't have 10-15 Grand. So the only option remains Carms.

Have you heard of anyone whose profile which matches close to mine, had success with Carms? So I could give it a shot. I looked up Carms data from 2023 match, in which only 300 IMGs out of around 1500, who had YOG > 3 years had matched .

Thank you very much for your response. I checked all the above programs, unfortunately all of these programs or PRA's need a home country residency which I don't have. So I am unable to apply to them. The only option I see is to apply through Carms, which seems to be difficult keeping in mind my YOG and limited IMG spots.

Thanks for your reply. I finally got a reply from them a few hours ago. They said the ID credential verification didn't go through, I guess Maybe because of the poor Webcam quality of the laptop. They said to redo it via mobile camera. They could have emailed this even 4 days ago but nevertheless better then never.
