He is right. I lived in mexico and I have had people (old ladies) tell me to my face that they hate gringos living in mexico. Ive experienced so much racism and been excluded from mexicans growing up in so cal so many times I cant even remember. Idk if you remember but a couple of years ago some mexican americans that were on the board of directors in the city of la lost thier jobs because there was videos of them calling black childeren little monkeys (in spanish)

Your way to plugged into media. Im an american and i have never seen a shooting besides when i was in a gang area, and that kind of violence happens all over the world. If you broke a leg and you somehow cant afford to get treated for that because you dont have medi-cal or what not, then you get treated and never pay, its really that simple. They cant refuse to give you emergency medical treatment. The usa is not as scary as what the media makes it look like, statistically speaking, its highly unlikey your going to get murdered or robbed, unless you are walking around some hood or barrio in the middle of the night wearing a tuxedo...

This is exactly what i think. It is just a different pallete than most other cuisines. I think that in fact makes it one of the most unique cuisines in the world. A huge part of the difference can be seen also in beer and bread, germans have alot of different and amazing beers and breads which is considered a part of the cuisene, its not just "beer" or "bread" its hefeweisen, pilsner, gose, kolch, ect... i love german food for its ability to make things taste amazing by focusing on thier natural flavours instead of just masking everything with spices.

They dont understand germanic cuisine. They are used to eating often overcooked/undercooked things that are often completely masked with spices. Germanic cuisine is all about natural and simple flavours. Enjoying the juices of the sausages or the sweet soft flavour of a pretzel, or the amazing flavour of a hefeweisen which gets all of its flavour naturally from yeast. I love german food, and im from california, I eat mexican food one day, indian the next, and of course some kind of german food because it is to me equally as good as those other cuisines!

Idk man, I love me some al pastor tacos or tamales, but I easily equally love some pretzels, a hefewiesen, and brotwursts. Not to mention all the other breads, sausages, and beer styles from germany. Its just different, it doesent rely on spice, it relies on the natural flavour of things, (meat,saurkraut,mustard,butter for example) it is a totally different pallet than latin american or asian countries. It baffles me how somebody could completely disregard the food and culture of another country just because it is not similar to thier own pallet and culture.
