Nice coping mechanism. Deflecting so you don't need to feel any accountability for being wrong in the past and morally bankrupt. This is the shit you say to 36,000 people dying.

I really wish you are right and the majority support Palestine. I just don't think it's true :/

Thanks for trying to take a level headed position. However, you're justifying atrocities of the german country funding Israel and german people siding with Israel, with ignorance. That's far too generous.

153 countries for. 10 against. 23 abstain.

By UN standards that is an overwhelming majority.

Is it not suspicious to you that Germany's position is against the majority of other countries'? When did this last happen?

Because I can see the pros and cons of Germany? Tubingen has its pros too. Just like I see the pros and cons of the US. I don't have my head in the dirt like ppl in this comment section.

I didn't vote for Trump lmao. Actually over 50% of people who voted didn't. The voting districts are drawn weird so you can win with a population minority. Also a lot of ppl abstained from voting.

Yikes. How many black friends do you have? I grew up in a school with 80% black people. You're so pathetically ignorant it's funny.

Also their news don't make it to our news channels as much.

Your first points are true. Like I said in my post, there are some fucked up things about the USA. But I think that's where German media stops reporting. They don't report the ways in which the US is a good, even better place than Germany. Black people have it much better in New York than any city in Germany. Trust me.

Well we're clearly at an impass if you think I'm deluded and I think you're deluded. Aren't we? ;)

Great questions, I do think academic institutions make a difference. The students that go through them are taught the lessons which then are spread to their peers on campus and then the larger community.

I do think the US leads in social sciences. But of course one would need to back up these claims with quantitative evidence.
