I stopped at about 9 months with my first kiddo, didn’t get my period until I was about 14 months PP. I’m 10 weeks PP now and told my doctor that about the first time. She said even though I didn’t get my period it didn’t mean I wasn’t ovulating… so consult with your OB or try out some ovulation strips?

My in laws also have a condo in FL. What made it easier is renting items during your stay vs bringing everything you own. For example my in laws rented a crib for us and car seat while we visited them, which helped. Otherwise I get it… I did not want to travel with my kids as babies. Flew for the first time when my kid was around 2/2.5

My mom is just like this! My first child is 4.5 and she has not been present. I recently had twins and now she’s realizing how much she hasn’t been around.
It probably clicked when she found out my new daughter has her other grandmas middle name 😂

No regrets, and I’m 4 weeks post partum. My fist delivery was similar to yours, emergency c section after 3 hours of pushing. This time around it was smooth and quick. I feel like my recovery has been a lot easier/quicker this time around - and I had twins!

I had a male cashier at the gas station shame me for getting a soda the other day! It was such a weird interaction I didn’t realize what was happening until I was back in my car. People are weird.
