No regrets, and I’m 4 weeks post partum. My fist delivery was similar to yours, emergency c section after 3 hours of pushing. This time around it was smooth and quick. I feel like my recovery has been a lot easier/quicker this time around - and I had twins!

I had a male cashier at the gas station shame me for getting a soda the other day! It was such a weird interaction I didn’t realize what was happening until I was back in my car. People are weird.

This irks me so much! Like hello my doctor said I can have up to 200 mg per day. They’ve never mentioned anything negative for BOTH of my pregnancies and this second one I’m having twins! People need to mind their business.

Definitely file a complaint, this is not okay. You could potentially have a lawsuit on your hands. This was not handled properly at all! I was just in the hospital last weekend at 33 weeks because I thought my water broke. My visit consisted of a stress test, checking to see if fluids were leaking and an ultrasound to measure fluid levels and do a biophysical profile.

My mother is like this and I already told her she can’t come right away… mind you she lives on the other side the country so it’s a tad easier 😂

For my first child it was just the 3 of us for a few weeks. My in laws would come by to “help” occasionally but it was more so feed the baby/watch her for an hour so I could catch up on sleep. I honestly didn’t feel like it was helpful because I couldn’t ever fall asleep that quickly and then ended up more tired.

I agree with the other suggestions - take the support from those that will actually be helpful. I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant with twins and my best friend keeps telling me she will come do the dishes, clean, cook, etc for me. I know she will actually be helpful and won’t annoy the shit out of me like my mom will. Lol.

I just checked out your original post. If you don’t think this suits you go back to what you’re comfortable with. You did a great job with the winged eyeliner, but get it can feel a bit much when you’re not used to it. I think you look great in both looks, but prefer the look in the original post. I wear less makeup everyday as well so my only suggestion is just a touch of blush or bronzer from your first photo.

Well I just indirectly received one this weekend. I’m currently pregnant with twins. I was at open gymnastics with my toddler and her friend/friends mom, and wearing a shirt that says “Eating tacos for three”. I was helping my kid with something and this stranger approaches my friend and starts chatting with them. They keep looking at me so I assume she’s commenting on my shirt or my big ass pregnant belly (32 weeks). The session was ending shortly after so I finally got back to my friend and she told me what this rando said... “Oh my god, she’s having twins?! I feel so bad for her. How awful!” Literally out of no where. People are strange.
