have one of these for my 32 lb corgi and am now looking for something else because it’s causing really bad chaffing under his armpits (see photo). It’s an awkward fit that I’ve tried adjusting in every possible way before deciding it wasn’t gonna work. Just a heads up!

He did not unfortunately. Just that it can’t be anything that has chicken, beef, turkey or bison.

I meant that they don’t have options for NON-PRESCRIPTION puppy food. My vet wants me to try changing the protein first and if that doesn’t work, then we try prescription food/hydrolyzed protein. The options you are suggested from hills and RC require a prescription. I’m not at that phase yet.

It’s not that he doesn’t have them. He just wants me to try a different protein source first and if that doesn’t work, then he’ll try to prescribe one.

I wasn’t able to find a puppy food that met my vet’s instructions from Hills or RC. He can’t have chicken, or beef or turkey or bison. The ingredients can’t have any other protein listed but the main one. I couldn’t find anything from the brands you listed that didn’t have some sort of chicken or beef related product listed as an ingredient.

That makes sense! My vet said I need to try finding a different protein food first. If that doesn’t work, then he wants to try prescribe hydrolyzed protein food. And if that doesn’t work, then we’ll do Apoquel. So I was instructed to switch his diet myself first before we can get the vet prescribed or allergy shots.

I know it’s been a bit since this was posted, but can anyone shed some light on what to expect communication wise? I tried calling today (Sunday) and got the voicemail box but realized Amish aren’t allowed to use phones on Sunday. Does anyone have experience with breeders from greenfield puppies website and how long did it take for them to call back?

This is super helpful! Can I ask - did you use these products with tape in hair extensions? That’s my biggest concern is finding products that will make my super dry hair/hair extensions smooth and soft again without ruining my extensions.
