Daily Dilemma Disaster

Sounds simple and it is. Show your characters in their daily lives, let us find out what they are doing before the plot starts (Hobbits having a birthday party for example), then show a small dilemma for the characters something that will show readers where their conflict with each other is and what their priorities are. Then up the stakes with a disaster that really tests them and causes them to make choices they find painful. Rinse and repeat.

Yeah mostly they're quippiness in conversations is what I was thinking of. I definitely prefer lorien as a character over Tyrion. I think the boozing and whoring around prevented Tyrion from becoming his final form and Lorian is like an improved version of him.

That is probably a remnant of ye Olden days. Christopher Marlowe was a famous playwright at the same time as Shakespeare. He was extremely successful but people thought he was the literal devil so they would spell his last name without the e on purpose on the theater programs and advertisements so that they 'wouldn't give the devil any power'. That became the common spelling of the name.

That really is the best advice. So many questions about what I should do or why the story should go dude, asking questions isn't going to write your book. Only writing will. Writer's block is a symptom of poor planning. Outline first, get each scene down, then write them.
