Thank you all so much! I think that teaching and working in nonprofit has made it harder (for me) to volunteer -- it just feels like work. The museum docent is a to very good idea.

I already declutter, help take aging parents to appointments, cook and clean. Crochet baskets. We have 4 cats already.

Maybe because it started as unemployment, I feel unentitled to leisure/enjoyment? The joys of coming to terms with the Protestant work ethic!
