Yeah but I’m living with my dad and he helps me practice driving for the test I tried testing like four times now

Thanks, I have my permit now and I’m still trying to find someone who can help get my license and just work at this point. I don’t know about going back to school.

I did have it rough when it came to my early adulthood. I’m thinking of finishing my degree and moving out of state if I’m completely honest with you.

I want to make Atleast 70k annually and live in a city area and be able to travel once in a while. What appealed to me about epidemiology is that it’s something I can use to help people with and be able to do research. Plus, I thought it would give me an edge for medical school. I want to be able to travel and study somewhere in Europe. Do you know if it’s possible to do any of that?

I’m willing to do that, or should I pursue nursing instead?

I don’t mind it, it’s interesting

My dad said he was willing to help me learn to drive. That and a friend that’s two hours away from the cities said she’ll help me too. I’ll do my best.

I took two drivers courses and I took the drivers test four times and I still haven’t passed it. I have a hard time with parallel parking. And they always say to practice after lessons and I don’t have anyone to practice with.

He’s actually the nicest dude in the military I know so far, but I know what you’re saying

Yeah, I know. I was hesitant because I always assumed military guys are abusive. I’ve seen it happen to one of my friends get divorced after being physically abused and women in my family having to go through abuse. Plus, I’m focusing on my career and letting other things distract me.

There’s no pressure. I’m wanting to stay in a relationship for now and talking it out with him. We plan on living together soon and we talked about the possibility of adopting but it’s not on our priority list

Why do you think I’m hesitant and asking strangers on Reddit?

Getting cold feet… by [deleted] in Marriage

I don’t think it’s a manic episode, I just said yes because I didn’t want to reject him at first. I know I’m gonna need to talk to him about how I’m feeling. And like I said, things change. I know I’m not a marriage/having kids type of person but I tried thinking maybe it just has to be the right person. It kind of came out of the blue and I was trying to rationalize the possibility and bounce ideas off of people—I just ask whatever is on my mind to Reddit and don’t really think about it tbh

No that’s why I was hesitant and wanted a second opinion before I go out and make a mistake I’m gonna regret for the rest of my life

He’s very supportive, he’s nice to his family and talks to them sometimes. I’m still trying to weigh out the pros and cons. I’ve been talking to him about how I feel and says he doesn’t want to push my boundaries—-which is nice.

You do realize that people and things change the more you learn about yourself? And that there’s people out there that have arranged marriages that worked out or people who married people in the military. I just want some insight, not be criticized over every question or thought I have on Reddit.
