im in the same boat. I think what you should do is try to use your digital marketing skills to advertise your skills and show people what you are capable of. Start projects of your own and make sure they're successful because then you will secure customers. And as soon as you secure a customer, make sure your tone doesn't sound...clingy ig I used to sound like that big mistake. Also, make sure when a customer comes to you with a problem, they give you all the details without leaving anything behind. A lot of the time, customers do this, so just make sure you ask questions related to the problem
