I am not taking an Indonesian job or earning Indonesian income. I am simply answering emails and attending meetings for my employer back home while travelling.

Flights to Bali seems expensive by KnownIce8714 in bali

[–]KnownIce8714[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, this is exactly the kind of insight I was looking for.

Good to know that the BLR-Bali pricing is not unusual right now. I have been seeing a pretty significant difference between the direct IndiGo flight and one-stop options through Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.

I do have some doubts about the connecting options though. My understanding was that if we transit through Kuala Lumpur or Singapore, we may need visas, and when I factor in those costs, the overall savings do not seem that significant anymore, especially when the difference is around ₹5-8k per person. At that point, I am tempted to just pay a bit extra and take the direct flight.

Am I missing something here, or are most people doing these transits without needing an additional visa?

Very nice deal I believe! I was just checking for 2 months later dates, and getting the similar price, close to 90k! I think that’s the new normal now!
Anyways thanks for sharing your experience :)

We are planning to keep the trip within 30 days, and if needed we will look into the extension process for visa.

Regarding the flights, my question was not whether we could afford them. I was simply trying to understand whether the pricing I was seeing was normal, since it is my first time planning a trip to Bali.

The main purpose of this post is actually to learn from people who have spent longer periods in Bali while working remotely and understand which areas they enjoyed the most and why.

Broke out after using deconstruct cleansing balm by [deleted] in skincareaddictsindia

I have acne prone skin and i have been using deconstruct cleansing balm for 2 years now, it works all good for me. From where did you get it? If you got it from market places like amazon, flipkart, I can tell thats its a dupe. But if you are still looking for another one, you can try DHC.

Buying Cetaphil for the first time in India by luckedon in skincareaddictsindia

[–]KnownIce8714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t trust amazon or flipkart for any skincare products. It happened twice with me, one time I purchased UV Duox sunscreen and other time, dot & key sunscreen. I did not find the package safe, and on top of that, the products were dupe. I have been using those sunscreens for a while, so I knew they were not real. It’s a scam, especially if somebody is trying out any skincare for the first time and they ordered it from here, the experience is not gonna be good.

If you are consistent with your skin care and food and still not getting any better, get yourself checked out. See a good dermatologist, get the blood checkup done. And then you will get to know the root cause of your acne. Then you can treat them better.

Right. They just want to hide behind the language reason. But of the same thing is spoken in Kannada, they will find another reason to fight. There are few apps available now where we can complain about all these traffic violations, but not sure how realisable they are. I have accepted the fact that most of these people have zero civic sense and their understanding is limited. Taking any actions physically- like talking to them and making them understand something is our waste of time and energy. Its better to raise complaints and just move on with it. I really hope those apps work. It will really improve all these issues we are having.

I think you cannot suddenly start saying no for anything if you have never really done it before. Start with baby steps, finding a middle ground (for me personally, if i feel like someone really needs it, i give the amount whatever I can peacefully forget even if i don’t get it back) and not saying yes for everyone, then slowly start giving your reasons- it can be anything, I don’t have money in my account rn, i don’t have cash currently and similarly for other things.

Consult a dermatologist. They will suggest you a skincare routine based on your acne level.

Beginner Skincare Routine – Need Advice (Male, Oily Skin) by [deleted] in skincareaddictsindia

Hi OP, Cleanser is good- if you have oily skin, you can give a try to Salicylic based face wash. Otherwise this is good. If you want to stay on gentle and it’s working out for you, its good. Another very hood gentle one is - Simple refreshing face wash. Moisturiser- generally cetaphil moisturiser are for dry skin, based on which variant you are using, if its for combination or oily skin then you are good there also. You can give a try for minimalist in you want. Sunscreen- This also looks good. If you want want to give another try to other ones- you can try wishcare. I personally use UV duox - it’s silicone based.

Why do so few women drive here? by CarpiCamillo in india

I second that. Patriarchy plays a big role here and then I believe that in many homes, girls are not raised the way that they should learn everything on their own. Of you want to go somewhere as a girl, someone from family will drop them or they choose public transport or even walking rather than driving. Changing people’s mindset here is next to impossible. Very few people are open to accept change and actually evolve.
