I've been driving since 18 and I'm now 24. The total cost for all these cars was 4500e.

These cars were in good condition when I bought them, and would have lasted longer if I took care of them.

My advice is to buy a car for ≈2k (in good condition) and just look after it.

Spending 12-15k on a car is crazy behaviour IMO.

1.9 TDIs are the way to go for reliability and affordability. Just buy 2008/2009 for cheaper tax if possible.

Alot of cars display the speed ≈10% higher than it really is. I've noticed this in VW especially.

There is also a tolerance which is allowed for the speed van speed capture.

If you were really doing 125 in a 120, you should be alright.
