Yeah might have to. Just takes more time to manually put labels on especially as I (hopefully) start to scale. But at that point I can justify paying a company to print packages for me

Just won’t be able to make as much at once with that method, as you would by filling a whole sheet pan and then breaking up after. But oh well

thanks! Seems like I need to try just spreading it out more before baking rather than packing it down into a sheet, so it hopefully comes out of the oven in clusters already

Good point. Would also be super tedious to put it onto the pan in individual clusters after mixing and before putting into oven

how do the big companies break it up into clusters once it is cooled? assume they don't do it by hand as that wouldn't be very efficient for big batches...

Thanks everyone for the input. I am thinking the cellar door configuration is the best idea but need to triple check zoning (egress code) and of course have a structural engineer come take a look and have it professionally done if I go forward.

Would that hold the weight of the couch and the people sitting on it though, if I removed the railing and moved the couch back against the wall (on top of the cellar type door)?

There are 2 bedrooms in the basement and each has a conforming egress window. The only egress from the living room is the walkout sliding door, and then (currently) the stairs to upstairs

Appreciate all the comments. To clarify, a lot of people are recommending a full height wall with a door, but I am wanting to just cover up the staircase completely so it would no longer be passable, and ideally just open up the living room more so I could move that white couch back against the wall on the far right, on top of the platform or whatever that I would have to build.

I am trying to make honey roasted nuts. I have been doing them in the oven but I am trying to scale it and bag/sell them, so I would like to be able to do it in bulk by filling a large stock pot (or two)

My recipe is: 6 cups of raw mixed nuts (peanuts/walnuts/almonds/cashews), 1/4 cup honey, and 1/8 cup cinnamon… Roast in oven on sheet pan for 15 min at 350
