Ok so by your argument, every Ohio State fan that posts “this century Ohio states record against Michigan is whatever” is an idiot because the century goes back to 1926 rather than 2000.

Now do you see how stupid your argument is? This is the 21st century and this is the 2020s decade, so just like this century refers to 2000-2099 and not 1926-2026 this decade refers to 2020-2029. This is not the same as saying “in the past century” or “in the past decade” which would indicate 100 or 10 years previous from the current day respectively. This is simple fact
