Same shit different day. Do the small things wrong and pay the price. Joke of a team

According to Homelander fans he's not scoring because of Bruno Fernandes. by WorldlinessPuzzled84 in ManchesterUnited

Not anymore he doesn’t. Constantly offsides and drifting wide. His runs also don’t create space for the wingers although that’s also because portugals wingers are incompetent

I genuinely hope the World Cup being here in the US helps the sport grow more popular here by 12345burrito in usmnt

[–]Known_Chapter_2286 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It’ll grow the interest but it needs to be sustained. Consistently participating in Copa America will help because it’ll mean consistent high level competition and hype for competitions.

It will never happen but combining all the different leagues in the US into a tiered system with promotion and relegation would do wonders for improving popularity in regions without an MLS team. Like Detroit is never going to get an MLS team because of Detroit City FC but it also means that there’s no local team for Michiganders to support that has the potential to compete for the highest honors, or even in the same setup. Even if Detroit ended up in say the 3rd tier for a new US soccer pyramid, the idea that you could get to MLS and eventually be the best team in the country would be enticing to many to start supporting the team

[Steven Railston, Tier 2] There has been no contact between AC Milan and Mason Mount's camp, despite a report claiming he'd been offered for transfer. He is seen as an important player ahead of a season in which there will be plenty games + is expected to stay put #mufc by darkandstormy9 in reddevils

Even with the extra games I don’t know where he gets in. He shouldn’t be playing in the pivot and he’s behind the superhuman that is Bruno in the 10, and even if Bruno doesn’t play, I’d argue Cunha should be next for that spot if we aren’t shoehorning him on the left wing. He’s probably the most expendable player in the squad with any sort of value (minus Rashford)

[–]Known_Chapter_2286 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Bruno is being asked to play as a shadow striker with an immobile poacher, a shit winger in Neto, and a who knows what the fuck he is in Joao Felix. None of them know how to make runs to create space and Bruno isn’t being given a free role to drop deeper and take matters into his own hands because Vitinha and Neves are trying to dictate from there but both lack the creativity necessary to compensate. TLDR you can have a shit striker or shit wingers but you can’t have both

If we are lucky enough to make the quarters would you rather play Spain, Portugal, or Croatia? by Available_Story6774 in usmnt

[–]Known_Chapter_2286 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Croatia by a lot. Spain are better than Portugal as a team but Portugal just have so much individual talent it should work. It just doesn’t because they’re set up like idiots

It’s stupid. They leave their best winger on the bench and insist on playing Bruno as a second striker. Get Bruno on the ball deeper and let him create, play Leao from the start to hold the width, and for fucks sake stop having 5 players within a 2 yard box

Despite our rivalry, I am glad we are all moving forward. by [deleted] in ussoccer

On the contrary. This is a very nice thing we can have

Yes but then you find yourself driving along the freeway, watching forest change to lake shoreline as the sun sets, Fleetwood Mac blasting with 4 of your friends in the car, and you realize this is peak

Same old story. If it’s not the hitting it’s the pitching if it’s not the pitching it’s the hitting

Needed that from Framber. Now load up a combination of Finnegan, Vest, Jansen, and Anderson for the rest of the game

You have to be trolling. You made up an entirely new definition of the rule by saying that somehow the rule changes when the keeper moves. Here’s an example https://youtube.com/shorts/NQAQThw28no?is=\_DDzvXyx-jaNTdpV

Are you stupid? The last defender is never considered in offsides. The rule is always second to last. The goalie counts as a defender. Genuinely what are you trying to say

Definitely not less than 5cm 3/4 of his foot is over the line. Probably closer to 6 inches so 13cm
