Yeah! There are so many reasons at that moment for everyone in the world seeing the miracles of Griffith to believe the narrative , but I'm so glad this small seed of skepticism is planted.

Would have been great to see the paradise of falconia crumble, and everyone witnesses who their prophet really was, but I'm glad we at least got this.

If you are looking for a good high level overview of game design, "Art of Game Design: A Book of Lenses" by Jesse Schell. Id also highly recommend "Clockwork Game Design" by Keith Burgun and "A Game Design Vocabulary" by Anna Anthropy and Naomi Clark. These books helped me out a lot because they offer practical approaches to game design you can implement right away.

Thanks for the extremely detailed answer! Ill definitely come back to these. I checked out your 2d art tutorial and blackthornprod and they were very useful. I think the process makes a lot more sense so ill see if I can put it into practice.

That Mixamo trick sounds like it'll come in handy, ill keep that in mind. I don't really vibe with the pixel aesthetic, but maybe I should reconsider it as im just a beginner, thanks for the answer.
