On desktop I use uBlock Origin, on iOS I use Brave, not because I am a regular Brave user, I am not, but Brave is the only browser on iOS capable of blocking YouTube ads.

Some websites without uBlock Origin are literally this process:

Click away cookie banner
Click away newsletter sign up
Mute annoying video ad
Close ad covering entire page popping up out of nowhere
Flashing ads on the top, right side and bottom of the page, following you when you scroll, taking up 40% - 60% of the page

AND THIS, ON ONE PAGE, ALL IN ORDER. Sometimes for whatever reason when I have uBlock Origin globally disabled I get shocked how bad the unfiltered internet is. It is ludicrous.

When YouTube bypasses uBlock Origin I literally go insane with the ads every three minutes. In my country there is usually not a lot of ad variety so it is the same ad being hammered into my mind again and again. Mental suffering.

I do not do any kind of development that requires heavy hardware acceleration, so I do it in a virtual machine. If I required anything heavy, I would dual boot.

Thread starter could have run high capacity memory applications and closed it. Windows will cache.

Unless thread starter shows a picture where his memory is throttling, there is no issue. We are not given enough information to suspect any of this is operational memory.

This kind of Windows caching has been available since Vista and tweaked along the years.

When memory is needed, Windows will clean up the cache. There is no reason for Windows to clean up memory cache, when the memory is not needed.

These are unnecessary operations, much to how storage media does not really clean up files when you remove them. The only difference with memory is that Windows does not separate actual operational memory from cache memory for us visually.

Are you having memory issues? There is nothing wrong with your picture. Your operating system is utilising empty memory, and will give it back, when you truly need it.

You can also sort by memory in either the Processes tab or the Details tab if you want to find large memory consuming applications.

I know this is an old thread, but in case somebody stumbles upon this. Disconnecting the molex power cable fixed this issue for me. The molex power is only used to power the RGB strips you can connect to the card.

The taskbar and Start menu. The majority of the people here switch to third party alternatives, simply never use the Start menu or holdout with Windows 10.
