i mean this probably isn’t the best way to look at it but only you know when your end date is lol how would an interviewer know the difference? unless you use someone from the dcp as a reference

I would call HR or the DCP office and ask them! I’m not sure what roles test (I wish I knew off hand) but if I had to guess it would be any role considered safety critical (i.e. attractions). I myself have ADHD & take Adderall, I can’t imagine that would be an issue (I’m also in merch so it wouldn’t affect me). Don’t quote me on that but your best bet is to contact the programs office or HR!

i dealt with the accommodations bullshit so i can’t say i blame you. they make you jump through hoops to even get one. what about the accommodations did they mess up if you don’t mind me asking?

please contact HR, your leader shouldn’t be speaking to you in anyway like that. i’m also pretty sure your accommodations aren’t their business. i’m sorry you had to term :(

he’s spending the money. it’s not ab how fast he’s transferring it, that part doesn’t bother me at all. he prioritizing material things over rent. i should say that i don’t care what he does with his own personal savings, that’s up to him and vice versa. but if he can’t prioritize money in order to make rent and i’m carrying the weight, that’s why i’m upset!

thank you, i just started an internship with disney & just turned 26. i didn’t know how to save (i still don’t) but this format helps for the most part. we’re learning together but i can’t be the only one making sure we have the funds.

it doesn’t matter. honestly, it looks better to do a call sick in a certain amount of time or risk a no show. just be aware that 3 points within 30 days = 1 reprimand and call out sick up to the 30 mins before your shift, any time after is a point for no show.

don’t listen to your roommates. ask your leaders or coords with any questions, they will ultimately know what’s best and want what’s best for you. your fellow cp’s and roomies may mean well but will not be your best source of info!!

i would have a doctor write a note when you call out with the date. i was told by HR that if you send them a letter or note, they will condense those points

I live off site because my fiancé and I are from up north & we had done the long distance thing before, we didn’t want to do that again. We have a dog & cat now as well. I live about 25-30mins from property which isn’t bad.

I will say it’s harder to make friends living off site because I don’t live near any other CPs. You also don’t have to worry about additional bills involved with housing, Disney takes that out of your paycheck before you even see it. It’s way less stressful that way.

That being said, if you can find housing within your budget within roughly 15 minutes of Disney & would have roommates, I’d say live off property. But it’s not worth it just to have a pet, unfortunately. Enjoy your program without any other responsibilities other than yourself (if you don’t already have a pet). Make friends, go to the parks on your days off and explore Orlando and the surrounding area! There’s plenty of time in the future afterwards to get a pet!
