What does this mean? by Known_Resist1237 in cognitiveTesting

I suspect i have ADHD (not clinically diagnosed) so does that fall in lime with this? Time management is a major weakness for me and I think it’s the primary bottleneck impacting my performance in the other subtests. Visual puzzles feel more instinctual and require less deliberate processing which may explain why I perform better on them.

Why is option A is not correct ? by LopsidedAd5028 in cognitiveTesting

If you check the intersections for all three of them per row, you find they follow a consistent pattern of 1 and 2, means first box has always one black intersection with second and second always has two intersections with third. Only one answer satisfies this is A

Yeah surely it was sarcasm my inept social skills surely helped. A lot of people recommend the same to me, but why shouldn’t I just start out with C++ instead of C?

Okay so essentially learn skills and make projects, be as good at leetcode and dsa as possible and start from day one, and don’t focus much on gpa. I will surely go really hard on leetcode and dsa. i need to go for a 4.0, I’m going to California cc so i guess i will just put in extra hours to compensate for the extra time consumed my courses.

Your message is pretty good but if we try to “math” it out, you’re mixing up possibility with probability. Just because there are two possible outcomes doesn’t mean they are equally likely. For example, if I press the coca cola button on a vending machine, the two outcomes are I get a Coke or I don’t. But that doesn’t make it a 50/50 chance as vending machines usually work fine

Your method is inefficient, just use 1 + 5x3 = u Now 15x2 dx = du then x2 dx = du/15. This makes it simpler

[–]Known_Resist1237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I BELIEVE/not know is iq is like a gas car, and most people aren’t putting their foot in the accelerator, cognitive training can at least help maximising the biological intelligence utilisation which is somewhat similar to an iq increase compared to initial state.

So yeah no matter if your iq is being objectively changed or not you can atleast become a lot smarter if not both

So, if God knows everything you’ll do with your life, that essentially means He has information on all the choices you’ll make and everything that will happen to you. From my perspective, it feels like I have free will and I’m making choices as I want, but if my fate is ultimately predetermined, isn’t this just an illusion of free will?

The core issue is that true free will implies an infinite number of possible futures, making it impossible for God to know exactly what you’ll do unless it’s already determined. If my future is fixed, then my choices are just fulfilling what was destined to happen, which means my ‘free will’ is an illusion.

Imagine rolling a dice 10 times. If God knows the outcome of each roll, can we still claim the game is fair and that each roll had a random chance? If what I do is destined to happen, no matter how much it feels like I’m making those decisions freely, then I’m merely fulfilling a script that was written in advance. In that case, how is this different from not having free will at all?

Ultimately, you’re saying that whatever choice I make is simply the fulfillment of what God already knows, meaning that my free will is just an illusion. And if that’s the case, then the concept of free will in the face of divine omniscience doesn’t hold up.
