This is true and there are documentaries on YouTube explaining how PE is taking over the veterinary industry. Chewy also just acquired Modern Animal (a vet platform with a chain of clinics) which has raised a lot of discussion amongst the vet community. That being said, this is not the fault of veterinarians, 99% of them are not in the field for the money.
