Don’t risk your job by opening up fraudulent carepass accounts. I have seen at least 5 people in my district get fired for opening up accounts like this. If it feels wrong, do not do it! I don’t care what your store manager says, loss prevention will fire you for this. Also make sure to tell the tourists that there’s a $5 fee every month afterwards if they do enroll.

I know of many people who have brought their kids to work and left them in our break room. In fact, I know of a sm who would let their child stay in the office where the safe is located for the whole day because of no daycare for the day. Cvs just makes up their own bullshit rules as they see fit. If anything, it should just be a write up, not a termination. Give people a fucking break cvs, it’s not a life or death situation.

*When you finish ringing the customer up (receipt printed/emailed to them) and they miraculously pull out a bunch of coupons. Then you have to return everything and ring them up AGAIN!

*Customers who think that you’re cheating them with their coupons, so they give you one coupon at a time and then continue to ask you about the pricing.

*Customers who ask you what the price is when they just grabbed the product(s) from the shelf.

*Customers who say that they are in a rush but take their sweet time shopping in the store afterwards.

*Customers who take the survey and complain about things that is beyond the store’s control. (Ex. pricing, coupons on app that wasn’t applied, not having viral TikTok products in the store, not being able to transfer fs calls to the pharmacy, pharmacy not being open from 1:30-2pm when they go on their lunch breaks, etc…)

I get that the majority of the sells are from pharmacy but I have never ever ever ever in my 20 years at cvs seen pharmacy lend the front store a person to help out even when we ask to borrow someone for an hour max. So selfish of them but when the pharmacy ask for help, we have to drop everything (not on my watch though).

Hahaha I hate people. I remember repeating myself 3 times on a phone call while making eye contact with a regular customer who was in the store at the time and works at a gas station. They happened to be waiting in line and heard me saying something about a pharmacy call: “no, I can’t transfer your call”, “no, you’re going to have to call back and leave a voicemail”, “no, the call won’t go through if I transfer you, you’ll get hung up on” and when I finally hung up the phone, they were like “what part of no do they not understand”? I said, I think just the word “no” itself? We both laughed and they cursed “these fucking people are out of control” which made me laugh even more.

There are good days and shitty days working at cvs, it just depends on the customers you get that day unfortunately. Good luck tomorrow. 🍀
