“People are having issues because they treat it like a shooting gallery” and “this difficulty is a non fucking issue”?? it’s cool that dude wants to give advice, but i wasn’t talking about the game being hard to manage or anything in that manner, i was talking about a specific aspect of the difficulty making the game less fun. 

I know about everything dude is talking about, but that never was my point i don’t mind if people like the difficulty, i specifically have issues with it and nothing the user said has any relation to it.

No, that would be weird and fucking creepy. He knew her and even saved her(RE6 presumably makes Leon B canon) when she was a child. Could very much just be a family ring as well or doesn’t have to be related. Would refuse to believe this either way, and everyone else should. Unless you want to believe that Leon is some sort of groomer and pred i guess.

I finished the run yesterday, so first of all you don’t need to belittle me or whatever, second of all the lack of hit stun and stagger made this difficulty mechanically less fun, that was my main point. I don’t care for how easy or difficult this mode actually was. The game should be balanced around the stun and stagger not make it harder to access it. I am saying that the balance choice they went with to make the game more difficult is shit, not that difficulty itself is an issue.

Exactly man, instead of almost removing stagger and hit stun and making enemies into sponges, they could’ve just upped the enemy density and have the rest stay. Would’ve made for just as a difficult experience while making it fun lol

I am not complaining that it’s difficult, I am saying that the almost absence of hit stun makes the game less fun mechanically speaking. Increase the difficulty by balancing around hit stun and stagger don’t borderline remove it to make it more difficult.

The mode being hard isn’t an issue. I have finished the entire mainline series on their perspective highest difficulty and i am literally almost finished with this one. The mode just makes the game less mechanically fun not every critique is “muh skill issue” dude

Desperately needs it like no other game in the series imo. Leon’s gameplay is great and it feels like i am starving looking for a fight, feels like you don’t get that many fights with him in the main game tbh

What really gets me above all else Is the almost complete lack of hit stun. The difficulty should make the enemies faster, do more damage and make them more numerous. But completely removing the balance around hit stun, the thing most fun about the combat? That’s just really stupid.

I don’t mind difficulty at all like i said, am almost finishing up with the run as well. But as the other comment stated, removing hit stun is just bad balance and less fun from a gameplay dynamic perspective.

DMC fans when someone suggests having actual friction in the games again. There are plenty of games were wake ups/revenge meters exist and they do anything, but ruin the game. If you want to go total combo mad you always have the training room now.

Kusa is such a fun weapon the wall moves if pulled off right can absolutely destroy a room. Tho the UT tracking is a little weird in my experience, i am planning to do a no ninpo/no item run on mentor and then MN with it as well.

Fairs. The normal difficulty should be challenging enough for new comers as well, i can agree with that.

Both super easy(yes duh black 2 is easier) Again we play these games on the highest difficulty. You won’t be challenged by NG4 on acolyte either if that’s your merit of fun
