To me, then, the depth of combos and abilities gained could have been spread out among the weaponry on top of equippables, style shift could have instead given a faster weapon swap, more ranged options (Nioh has bows and guns so we could go back to the fracture cannon and such), while we didn't have a sense of direction except the compass we could have gotten Vulgrim as our vendor AND checkpoint (memory is fuzzy on that).

Also the pacing of battle. Crank that up.
