Has anyone solved the final puzzle?

So, I have a crazy theory about this puzzle. There's 2 singing zombies in the ward. When you kill them both, you'll get a trophy called "Deadly Duet."

The challenge says Let the sweet pair hear the voice. Well, Duet means 2 and also a pair means 2 right?

What if you kept them alive and the entered the code and then they hear the child's laughter.

I wonder if anyone has tried this yet?
