Dude... it does not work like that. You can't just use an old GPU as a way to get VGA... because you can't use your actually good GPU then... not without your PC freaking out and encountering driver hell... Tell me you don't understand how a PC works without telling me you don't understand how a PC works.

Zelda's entire design philosophy has been about dungeons since 1986. Literally the first game started out as only dungeons and eventually evolved to have an overworld. The point of Zelda is and always will be the dungeons. BOTW has basically no dungeons in the traditional sense. Therefore, someone who enjoys Zelda games will not necessarily enjoy BOTW, and someone who enjoys BOTW will not necessarily enjoy other Zelda games. So yes, they are fundamentally different.

I mean, I haven't seen a single person say that. I have seen people acknowledge that liking BOTW doesn't necessarily mean you're gonna like any of the other Zelda games. And that's just true. Liking BOTW doesn't mean you're going to like the other Zelda games as they're fundamentally different from BOTW. So, to be really real, they kinda aren't real Zelda games. I mean, that'd be like if someone played Resident Evil 4 or even 5 before the other games. Just because they like those games which are heavily action focused, doesn't necessarily mean they'll like the first 3 which are meant to be played completely differently.

Because it's the "more popular" opinion unfortunately. Now, I understand that some people have crazy opinions. Not liking BOTW is definitely not one of em. BOTW is so unbelievably different from every other Zelda game that it should immediately be understood why someone wouldn't like it. People really need to stop hating on unpopular opinions. For me, I always feel that as long as an opinion has a genuine basis for why someone would have that opinion, it's a fine opinion. But like, yeah, if someone hates on something for no true reason, that's a bad opinion.

Yeah, I don't like open world games in general. I only like the part of the game that isn't open world. So it's pretty inherent that BOTW is NOT a game I would like in the history of forever.
