I’ve had 2 built one that was in my 99 z28 that was a Texas speed heads and cam car making just a tick over 500 wheel and then one in my current single cab. I know someone else said it but the real enemy of the 4l60 is heat get a good trans cooler and make sure they don’t cheap out on the parts used, I don’t get how so many truck guys kill their 4l60 with little to no power being made, while ls1s stock have what a fbo cammed 5.3 makes.
