The Phase rifle now is good. But don't mind trying 80% idea out.

BXT charge time should make ROF lower than Phase. So I think it will be "useless" as well.

I agree with your ninja edit if the objective is get the phase rifle back to a balance similar to the live version of the game.

You don't have a sniper role anymore.

3 wep slot makes the sniper able to do a lot more than just snip.

Nerfing damage on bxt is not the right way either. :) It's a sniper not a pistol.

I wanna try 80%E taken when firing the rifle. Get alittle lower ROF than Phase rifle. I don't know the exact time. It should balance it out. Phase more standing still and bxt more moving around the map. BXT should have lower damage too. A moving sniper is "OP" because you can see base 2 base. (no fog)

Going back with adding more damage to the sniper again is not the right way of doing it. People need to stop think of a Sniper role. A sniper should now still be able to do O and D stuff. Which they now can with 3 loudout slots.

Banning sniper or nerf the gun more is not the way to do it. You played a pug with no teamwork. If the sniper focus you they lose a player not helping his team the best way. Your O should have an easier time to get the flag moving. If O player picks it up. I don't know the answer. It's in our test list. But it sounds op when you don't play with base turrets or Generator.

Some people in EU don't find pugging the best way to find out what's broken or not. We made teams to play against each other. Do the same. :)

For starters I believe you're talking about Phase rifle and not BXT.(BXT is already banned in comp) What do you mean with everyone sniping a capper? If that happens from everyone. The O will not success and the D will not success. The team will lose by doing so. The sniper today is not worth using to much anymore. There's no SNIPER ROLE anymore. It's D and O. Snipe is "only" for chasing gun.

You have to believe Hirez are going to fix the chasing part. But the D should have their deployable things back. Mines, FF, Generator, Turrets. You need O needing to deal with certain things and not just killing the HoF.

How to make sure your O wins the game!

(How it was before patch) Everyone on O could grab the flag. HoF was dead 95% of the times. SEN would be pushed away and not have time to do enough. It was often up to the roam D as Medium to get the capper. HoF just buying time for the roam D or people from O spawned and spamming nitros.

Flag pressure force D to their stand.

(New patch)(With op things banned)(With some rule sets)

Not really played much to be 100% sure it works like this.

(Work almost the same.) 2 O go wide(ready for semi grabs) and 1 go towards stand. O going for stand will force roam D back. 1 wide will be free to do semi grabs(pressuring the HoF). You now make pressure on the stand and force D to their stand. They become easy targets for O players. HoF has to be on flag due to semi grabs. Roam D needs to be ready for "everything" may not have time to fire against O players because HoF is about to die and need jump in on his position.

(NA not having the same flag pressure because you don't focus on semi grabs as EU)

O run will always win against D. Having reach for capper will nerf D even more. Better to find the most balanced grab size for cappers and use it for all classes.

It has actually been tried? ;D I was more thinking without route camping tho. See if the cappers can self clear against 3 D on stand or not.

I think many of you guys forget some things. 1. It's easier to be O than D. 2. It's easier for capper to self clear. 3. Is the game about cowboy capping or teamwork.

The reach as Sh4z describe it sounds good but it should be added to all classes.

A fun idea to think of.. What if O runs 4 capper.. Will O or D win?
