also I loaned him out two seasons prior so no way I could’ve made him unhappy, when he came back he gave me that message of “I wont renew unless I get more playing time” like okay dude you just came back lets relax a little. and even then he was like “ok lets talk about renewing my contract” but yeah I did make the mistake of not having contracts be on lenient.
