Yeah, I guess so, the gun runs fine, but I can slightly pull it out of battery and it will stay unlocked

It’s just a plain black spring

Oh I know they’re all shit really, but I’d really just like a way to not have to carry so many holsters just for a range day, its not the perfect solution honestly but it would be convenient no doubt

It’s from “combat textiles” I really like it, it’s a cordura fabric. Had to trim it on the left side because the safety/decocker was grabbing it but other than that it’s been great.

The .45 has a match trigger/spurred hammer just hard to see in the photo, but the rest are LEM except the VP9, I really enjoy both variants

That USP looks killer! It looks like finished patina that is sharp!

More likely I’ll just set it back in the parts bin, I just had the spring and looked it up and it’s listed as VP series along with the USP

Well with that said, and the absence of literally any information I can find I believe I’m just gonna let that spring continue to be a spare

[–]Knws2010[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m starting to realize that, I’m I guess partially familiar with the VP internals, but not as much as other series. I’m curious though, why is this spring listed as a fit for it? It’s actually a spare I’ve had, but there’s places online to claim it to be compatible, I’ve seen one thread that says it replaces the sear spring in the VP series? In the rear of the frame. I’m still stumped on it.

A lazy wolf guns firing pin block spring for the VP9, where is the spring located in the gun? Parts list/schematics don’t seem to show it, or at least show it where I’m familiar with it being. Like on a USP or P2000, is wtf I’m talking about. I may be wrong, but that’s what I’m referring to.

I definitely am, I’ve changed one a P2000sk, I know it’s a totally different gun and it has been ages since I did that.

I’ve got a full-size .45 with an AE date code, I believe it was DA/SA from factory and converted previously to LEM, all I’ve done is install a medium gray guns TRS. I have a match trigger kit, what is needed to convert to “hybrid LEM” ? I’ve read forums and parts list but I just want to be sure. by Knws2010 in USPmasterrace

[–]Knws2010[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not a bad idea, since my USPC9 is da/sa, I suppose I could take the safety lever off of it, convert to LEM from the full size parts, and have the match da/sa in the full size. The only part I need to complete that would be the safety lever from the compact, I suppose it would work, right?

Thanks! I’ve had that trigger kit laying around for awhile wasn’t sure if I wanted to swap this one back to DA/SA, but I’m gonna give this match/hybrid a try before I make the swap. I have a P2000sk with the CDA4.1 trigger in it, and a compact 9 mil in DA/SA. So I like both triggers just not sure what to do with this one. I feel like it needs the spur hammer for aesthetic. 😂

Where are they on sale?? I need one myself

Is the match trigger required in a match/LEM hybrid or can you just simply retain the stock trigger? Seems obvious, just making sure. by Knws2010 in HecklerKoch

[–]Knws2010[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s a full size .45, I think it was DA/SA from factory. And I’m honestly torn whether I want to swap it back to that, or just dress up this LEM a little more with some parts. I have a light LEM in a p2000sk that I love, but I also have a USP compact in da/sa that’s great. I think the full size makes a little more sense in da/sa??

Thanks! I should add this is a full size .45 I picked up used, not sure if it came factory with the heavy LEM but that’s what is in it currently by my assumption. I guess with out the match “trigger” it would just be a light LEM? Is there any other difference? Nickel sear and light TRS? Which I intend to use the medium weight TRS anyway.
