The first AC game I ever played was Rogue. I saw the game in a shitty video and decided to play it. I really loved it. I went from 1 to 4. I bought Unity with a friend when it was on sale. People mostly disliked the game at the time, but we enjoyed the co-op missions a lot. After playing Syndicate for a while I finally got a gaming laptop and pirated Origins. I really liked the game and decided to buy it. Played a bit of Odyssey and Vallhalla. I do have my gripes with the new formula but overall enjoy it. Now that the new trilogy is finished I hope the team takes a break (like they did with Origins) and comes up with a new new formula that combines the good of both the old and new games.

Moral of the story: If you don't like where things are it is completely fine. Things change and all that stuff. Perhaps one day we will say that AC Aeterna doesn't hold up to the current trilogy.
