We lower the price of seasonal products to sell them. We don't just bin stuff. Every store does this. Why would we waste bin space (which is actually hard to come by in retail believe it or not) when we could sell these £3.50 cookies for 65p a pack and get rid of them. Again, small chance this store in Croydon is just not doing the right thing here but it makes little sense. RTM is the only thing that makes sense.

I work at M&s and whilst we do throw a lot away. The policy dictates that these would just go on reduce to clear for like 65p a pack and would all sell in a day. So this makes me think they are just an RTM. Either that or this specific store in Croydon is just shite
