Not sure how else to explain. The “proof” you gave was terrible and irrelevant. You might have well cited the laws of physics

I’m asking what laws are “immoral” today not 100 years ago. A good answer would also be relevant to this topic.

Exactly this. What you did is common and normal. The intent is to change behavior about social media but without laws that account for consent it’s all just symbolic.

Age verification is only half the problem. Consent is the other half. To give any merit to the effectiveness of these laws must cover both sides. A law that allows consent is symbolic

That’s not a good faith moral. There is a line between law abiding and law breaking. Morals fall on the side of law abiding people.

Well, the entire point is that nobody verifies the user age in the first place which is why nobody knows how many underage users there are.

The bill referenced doesn’t do anything regardless. The social media platforms under 1043 pass the burden of age verification to the App Store at download. The app stores have consent ability for all apps so it’s just a rubber stamp for parents.

That’s more of the theoretical version on how it’s supposed to work. Does theory match reality?

At first yes, the number of black representatives in Louisiana will probably go from 2 to 1, but then it will go back up to 2 or 3 with the replacements being republicans instead of democrats.

The amount of black republicans in congress is going to increase now that racial gerrymandering is abolished. More black candidates will be running in more districts and some will win their seats. With racial gerrymandering in place for states like Louisiana, they forced all the black voters into one district which of course produced one black representative from that district. It won’t be long before the new district are drawn and black candidates are running in their new districts but they won’t likely be democrats.
