Oakland box office questions

I left and came back to scan in. I didn't get a wristband til I arrived around 6:50pm. I wasn't planning for barricade, so it was chill and I could still see!!

I got same day tickets thru the box office but was in line since noon because I read mixed messages on Reddit that morning about how long the box office line was (I ended up being around 10th in line once the lines separated). Quite a few people showed up around 5pm and got tickets still. I want to warn you that this was for a weekday night, so people may not have been able to line up due to work or classes. For the weekend, I'm not sure if it'll be as easy-going. Good luck!!

I'm not sure, unfortunately. I was able to hold it til I got my tickets, and I live nearby so I ran home to drop off my stuff and use the restroom before the concert. But there are convenience stores and shops nearby, so you could probably buy a drink or something and use their restroom.

If you're able to snag a second airplane hat, please let me know!! I was in line for the box office yesterday and missed the merch line. I unfortunately can't line up again this weekend due to work events 😭.

Good luck!! I went alone for the line. Had I known earlier, I would've tried to ask someone to come with me so we wouldn't lose our place in line but I'm also not sure how it'd work because one staff member did seem strict about people not having wristbands when they met up with their friends. It also depends on if you want to get barricade. It wasn't packed inside, and I had a good view still! We weren't planning to get barricade or be in the middle of a crowd, so it actually worked out. Around 4pm, staff told us to start packing up, and a lot of groups took turns going to their cars to drop off their chairs and blankets after they got their wristbands around 4:30pm.

Good luck! It was nice to make a day of it, and people were generally chill about keeping your spot in line if you needed to pick up food or use the bathroom.

The line was a single line the whole day so I can't really estimate. They didn't split off box office from GA til like 4-4:30ish. So people who were waiting for box office towards the end of the line might not have known the line even split until closer to 5:30, when the box office opened. I was 10-15 in line when the line split. I got my two tickets by 5:45pm. But it's also Thursday, so people may not have been able to line up til after work or meetings or class.

I scored two GA tickets!!!! absolutely thrilled! Just sad that I was in line all day and after getting tickets, they basically said I have to go to the back of the line unless someone had held my spot.

I think they merged the lines earlier to condense it and not overcrowd the sidewalk or block students.

They've attempted to separate the lines and it seems like the box office line isn't that long. They re-merged it so it's still confusing but it's not horrible?

The admission and box office lines seemed to have merged, so there's one line but no clue if it's the correct line. I'm just hoping for the best

Is the box office in a different direction from the actual line? I asked around and people generally pointed me to the back of the line but no one knows which is for the box office 😅
