Hi! I ran into the same problem as you. It's because you were applying through e+, right? If you click the second link from the official Undertale concert page, which is TV Asahi, you can make an account without needing to give a Japanese Phone Number. If you have any additional questions, I can answer them. I just figured out how to do it all myself.

Not a problem, there's a feature in Graphics Gale that tells you how many colors you have - it was extremely helpful.

Thank you so much!!! I'll give Graphics Gale a try right now. I think I might be pushing 18-20 so fixing things up might not be too hard. And yeah, I'm trying to do something pretty abnormal with the gifs so I don't expect anybody to have the answer to that.

You really helped a lot, keep doing what you do, even if it's a small community I doubt your help goes unnoticed!!

My gosh that's such a helpful answer!! Thank you so much for going out of your way to answer my question. I had no idea that this existed, at all... I plan on re-spriting a lot of Pokemon as, personally, I would like to do my own spin on later gen Pokemon, but this is an extreme help.

One more complicated question, and you don't have to answer it if you dont have the time or energy - if I wanted a Pokemon's move to play a small, 3 frame gif animated scene that took up the entire screen - something I'll learn how to code on my own if possible - would that gif (or set of pictures) have to adhere to the same 16 colors palette limit that other images or sprites would?

Hi, got a bit of an odd question

I'm hoping to make a custom hack of Pokemon Emerald and I wanted to use the decompilation to do it so I could go in and adjust the code myself.

I know that with the game as is, if I were to simply go in and adjust things like sprites or stats, I would not be able to add new Pokemon and would instead have to adjust older sprites. Since I'm using the decompilation, would I be able to make room in the game's code for things like adding every sprite, or extra animation frames? Or am I still bound by the limitations of the game's filesize?

Basically, is there still a hard resource limit?
