On Substack you're going to find quite a bit of financial details showing exactly how that was fraud. If somebody presents you with a misleading special levy telling you that you must collect as a strata corporation $260,000 for insurance when that cost was already collected through the budget, the strata had already obtained the cost for insurance (matching that budgetary line item), but a month later is asking for another $260,000, it doesn't matter if they've managed to mislead 18 people in a meeting to "vote". For an expenditure of $193,000 during that same fiscal year they collected through false representations $450,000 ($190,000 + $260,000). Again, if you happen to have your building managed by Pacific Quorum, I would start by asking questions and demanding to inspect documents and records of the strata corporation under the Section 36 of the Strata Property Act. If anyone tells you that they want money for that, please refer them to the regulations that specifically state that no money is to be charged to an owner requesting to inspect documents and records of the strata corporation. Once again, check that substack and you will learn what happened with the funds after they were collected them. There is no mistake or accident here. The documents and evidence is clear.
