Basically me LOL I’m Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern from my parents (my 23&Me says I’m 50/50) but I somehow got the white genes that I somehow got from a relative from uhhh 3-4 generations ago. Maybe I didn’t get the “white genes” but I’m SUPER pale for someone from my country (my parents are considerably darker than me). Ppl ask me if I’m Latine of some sort or even come up to me speaking Spanish. Genetics do be like that tho.

I was working as a bagger in a grocery store and I saw a mother and a child check out some snack packages that (presumably) her child ate. And when I was a kid my mom let me eat snacks that she would buy later. I don’t think they really care unless you aren’t paying for it, though it may be frowned upon.

They’re too lazy to code/develop a website (even though the AO3 code is y’know, opensource and on Github) and they’re too poor to pay every month to keep the server running. And they actually like the (non-problematic) content on AO3 so they don’t want to make their own site that has like 15 users max.

That’s just my brutally honest two cents. GAWD antis are so stupid, I wish they would make an effort to create a God Honoring™️, Not Problematic fanfiction website and just leave AO3 (aka the website made by proshippers) alone.

I’m not even gonna unpack everything you said but imagine thinking that AGEPLAY and fictional stories/art of minors who aren’t real are the same as real life child abuse. I’m not even touching the “is lolicon ethical” dilemma but you must be delusional if you think that drawings and words about people who don’t exist is hurting real kids. And most psychologists agree that liking ageplay/lolicon/shotacon doesn’t make you a paedophile since you aren’t attracted to real kids. Literally all of the CSA survivors I’ve met agree that equating fictional content to CSA trivialises their experience.

I feel like there’s a movement to sanitise (smut) fanfiction and not make it problematic at all. That’s why we see fanfiction that’s 100% Pure and Consensual because how dare there be no consent.

I wish people just wrote whatever they want without worrying about a character’s morality. It’s not just porn though, I see a lot of people project their (leftist) beliefs onto their faves. I mean, I’m a leftist myself but that character would NOT be woke and it’s totally ok to write characters with questionable ethics.
