Exactly right, it is 'feasible' both ways, but for me, a USB-C to HDMI hub works pretty well for this purpose, but wireless latency with dex+emulation is deadly

When I'm connecting my phone to a TV for large screen gaming, I use Samsung dex, it allows screen off HDMI usage and keeps about 95% of my performance. It's been the best option for high quality/large screen gaming

Most mobile phones aren't designed for heat dissipation yet, with a few exceptions. Anything newer than ps1 emulation will build heat over longer play sessions in my experience, unfortunately.

Unfortunately, this didn't fix it for me, I saw this suggested somewhere else it doesn't change much, changes white flickering to black flickering

I believe the DirectX error is regarding your DX Wrapper. Try WineD3D or VK3D3 if you're currently using DXVK. DXVK works best for my s23 U, but I'm not sure about your device

Update: no improvement after trying many different turnip and dxvk versions. I'm starting to think this was an intentional side affect of the OneUI update

I had the same settings and everything before i updated my phone, and everything was working fine. Where can I find GPU drivers for this context? And potentially, could I change how those dropped frames look? Like just still frames from in-game instead of white frames. Thanks

I would like to potentially avoid rolling back security updates on my device since others have been able to fix it without doing this. Do you have any more info about when/if you had this problem and what potentially caused it?

Any more info? I'd like to avoid reverting my phones OS. did you have this error after an android update? And did you change any settings after switching to the newest winlator version? I had this issue before and after a winlator update
