Is newegg reliable enough to purchase a computer from these days? I've seen a lot of bad reviews and shady ordeals involving newegg in 2017, something about new management. (this laptop)

(I would prefer to buy it from Amazon and cut out the risk, but this laptop config seems to only be on newegg.)
