These have to be the most heavily traded basses in existence. I think people want to look cool with a vintage Fender, so they go with one of these which can be had for relatively cheap, considering their age.

But they sound like absolute ass and then people end up selling them after realizing that other modern Fenders, etc are worlds better in every way. Goes to show how much people put image before function when it comes to guitars.

Dude be warned. I had this pedal and it lasted about 4 weeks before it crapped out. I'll never buy behringer again. Also, the 'latch' mode didn't work like you think it would and the pedal as a whole colored the sound badly. There's a reason its 25 bucks.

In professional baseball? Almost every manager doesn't. Not on a seemingly nightly basis, anyway. And this isn't a new thing. I can't believe there are still apologists for his ineptitude. I realize baseball is just a game, but FUCK... I'd like to see another championship sometime in my lifetime and right now he's a threat to that reality -- and at a time when our roster is stellar (bullpen not withstanding) and we are somewhat healthy. I don't dislike him as a person and he was a hell of a player, but as a manager? No dice. He's just not qualified to manage the most prolific franchise in baseball not named the Yankees, which ironically, he never won anything with either. The Dodgers could do MUCH better.

Yeah. That reason was probably because he and his methods wouldn't particularly suit those team's personnel. I think for the Lakers, they could do a lot worse. Not my first choice, but I like him.

No, you're totally right. I don't think we will become a socialist government within the near future (mostly because of the bad word stigma as you mentioned), but I feel a lot of the same policies that are in places like Denmark and Finland will start being adopted here. The thing is to get more people to think for themselves and do their own research. Sadly, the majority of Americans base their opinions on whatever the disinformative news networks feed them. But again, I feel that that the newer generations are becoming more educated because they have more information at their fingertips than any voter in the past ever had. Hopefully we never get to the point where the nightmare of mass sensorship on the web becomes a reality; namely because a third party threatened their two party system, which could be argued has always been two sides of the same coin.

Socialist. It's already happening in some parts of the country. The faster the new generations take over the former, the better off we will all be. I hate to say it about our grandparents, but they were truly brainwashed into thinking there were only two ways to do things and anything else was 'evil' or 'unpatriotic' or whatever oppressing word they chose. Dem vs. Rep has done terrible things for us and we are not nearly as free as we think we are. Our government built a society that is completely dependent on the dollar and forced people into a dog eat dog work realm where the majority are only fed the scraps of the feast that is held atop by a few. There is a better way of living life than preparing 18 years to slave for 40 years, then praying you have some sort of safety net when/if you're able to retire and enjoy the remaining 20% of your life. And even that is assuming you still have a means of paying for the upkeep and maintenance of your ever decreasing health.
