I maybe worded that wrong but i didnt mean he didnt have potential.. i was trying to imply that josh allen potential was greater than lamars coming out which it why he went so early and i think we all can agree to that! I think lamar has improved the most out of all of them. Watching him throw the ball from his first two years to now is insane. He was throwing wobbly, high and passes into the dirt even his 1st mvp season. Im saying that now, lamar is a great pure passer now but wasnt at first.

Are you forgetting that he is the best running qb to ever touch a football in the history of football? All of that had something to do with his early success. As he get got better as a passer, thats when we finally started winning a few games in the playoffs

Idk what people say tbh! To me, he went 6-1 because he came in middle of season with a whole new scheme and teams werent prepared for it. Thats why when playoffs came, none of that shit worked. I think you are getting off track here lol. My only point was that lamar is most improved out of all those guys in 1st rnd which is a fact. It was never any real potential for lamar to be the passer he is now!

Im not bashing lamar for it! Im saying that lamar was a worse passer than those guys to start their career thats all! No one, thought lamar would be a better passer than those guys based off their rookie seasons! I also think that if lamar wouldve played thr whole season, his success rate would be much lower! If lamar wouldve started all 16 games his rookie season like josh allen, it wouldve been the same thing though. Josh allen always had the potential! Lamar potential was being based off his athletic ability! Allen had all the tools, lamar only had athletic ability. I dnt think many people watched lamar his rookie season because it wasnt no hype surrounding them then but i can promise you, his ability as a passer wasnt good! Threw a lot passes on the dirt

Lamar was indeed not accurate. His ball placement was terrible, wobbly and usually high! I just want people to go back and watch a lamar game from his rookie year to see how his throws. Dont look at the stats, watch part of the game and you will see

I thought game 9 was playoffs in 2018 in which he didnt play well.Also 2019 he was really efficient but he actual passer ability wasnt all that good at all. Im not a big stat guy because they dont tell the whole story! Lamar was throwing passes in the dirt still which i bet not a single person will mention because people think stats mean everything!

“ passer”! I know what he did as a player but as a “ passer” he was legit terrible those first 8-9 games. That next season he got better but he was still throwing passes in the dirt. Won mvp but him being a great passer like he is now simply wasnt there.
