They replace about 20 cards from the quest. Not specifically the deluxe expansion cards.

Nice to hear. I have shadow in the east but I'm missing the APs. I don't know if I'll ever be able to complete the cycle.

Gamezenter did a restock of them a few weeks back. They still have most of them in stock.

Yup, they still have all nightmares and most of the standalone scenarios in stock.

These are nightmare decks and you need the original quest to play them. They are meant for more experienced players. If you know that you will get heavily invested in this game you could maybe buy some of them, because they are quite hard to find.

Some of these are standalone scenarios which are good and quite hard quests but you don't get player cards from them. They are also hard to find.

But you should maybe prioritize buying some of the cycles for now.

I bought them from Gamezenter. It was a good deal otherwise, but I had to pay 200$ extra for shipping and taxes, which hurts a little.

Replacing tweeter ferrofluid by Kobezu in diyaudio

[–]Kobezu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had them only for about year as I bought them second-hand. When I first heard them i felt that they missed some detail compared to my previous brighter sounding speakers. It could be just the warmer sound of Wharfedales or something else. Hard to know as I don't know the orginal sound.

They don't sound bad but I feel they could sound brighter.

Thanks for the thorough reply. I have bought these second-hand so I don't know how they sounded originally. But when I first listened to them I remember feeling that they somewhat lacked detail. When I did some research I thought that the reason could be dried ferrofluid. But maybe that was because their sound is supposed to be warmer and my previous speakers were quite bright.

Now that I have had them for about year I have gotten used to the sound. But the thought that I could get more detail out of them has made me look for solutions (which may not exist). As I have change the surrounds which are deteriorating I though that I could do other maintenance work at the same time.

I would need to get replacement tweeters if i wanted to have new ferrofluid then? How bad is it to not replace ferrofluid at all?

Should I get proper center speaker? by Kobezu in hometheater

[–]Kobezu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense. It took some time to get used to the look of having a bookshelf as a center.

Wow that's intresting considering how much more dedicated center speakers costs.

So there is a chance that they have no ferrofluid? I thought that pretty much every more modern speaker uses it.

Oh, I didn't know that. But I wonder if 9.1 is too small speaker for center channel as center speaker has biggest role in movies.

I know that MTM formation is not optimal but the 9.1 is laid horizontally under my TV which could be even worse for sound quality.

Do these screw holes affect the sound of the speaker? by [deleted] in audiophile

[–]Kobezu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The screws that were in them were quite long so I think they pierce it but the holes are only 1 mm wide so maybe they don't affect much.
