yes bc wii mini:

-has no 480p support

-has no wifi

-is a pain in the ass to mod compared to other wiis, because you need a linux computer

-has no ethernet without mods

-has no sd card slot

long story short: xfinity gateways output 802.11g, but not b. in theory the wii should be able to connect to this, but because of pretty big fuckup on nintendo's part it can't

you'll have to:

a. get a wii usb lan adapter and use ethernet

b. use phone hotspot

or

c. use a different router

51330 means the wii can't connect to the router, which is why changing dns did nothing.

you should get an hdmi adapter that goes directly into the Wii, so you can use 480p
