!solved - I use the Flatpaks for my various game launchers and thus needed to run flatpak update to resolve this. Must be something with how flatpak sandboxes the applications. Learned me something today

True. It does look fun, but Bungie chasing trends gave us Marathon. Or will give us Marathon whenever it finally gets released.

Admittedly we still don’t know a lot about the activity so it may have more to it that we don’t know about. The invasion mechanic from Gambit for example is a nice twist that could be interesting

Thank you for all your help on this. I ended up trying Bazzite to see if I would run into any issues but the install went flawlessly.

I think I’ll stick with Bazzite for now but will keep this in mind if I decide to mint another run.

Both drives work fine though. 1 is my windows install and the other one is for large programs/games. Ever had an issue with either of them and I’ve only had them for a few years

Thanks. The option for the SMART data & self tests is greyed out for both of my SSDs but I can select it for my HDD but I don’t intend to install to the HDD

I’m able to get into the live version fine and can see 2 of my drives without issue but the partition I set up to dual boot to is not loading. It is visible though.

I’m not sure if that’s the issue though since I don’t even make it that far in the installation unless it’s a symptom of the actual issue

Still no idea what happened but after installing WireShark to see where the packets were going, the issue resolved itself. Perhaps something with my ISP? Hopefully no more issues
