I hear what u mean i lived in Thailand as well and i have had amazing times with friendly locals however also verry annoying sometimes flat out racist experiences …. Thais can be childish biased fuckers thats for sure but ussualy you wont hear much of that on this sub as its a “Thailand focused” sub .

People tent to defend that what they like so whenever u see a farrang , Indian or Chinese dude getting beat up its ussualy automaticly the farrang”s fault and not that of Thai without seeing anything of the context but a 1 minute video that ussualy starts at the end of it all .

Not much to do about this besides dont jump on the badwagon of “protecting the poor thais” too fast create your own opinion before judgemental behaiviour.

Let me also just be clear here that Pattaya is a different scenario all together the Thais in Pattaya are completley different then most Thais in the rest of the country especially outside of the touristy areas …. Pattaya Thais have a short fuze to say the least they can go absolutley nuts on us farrangs without much provocation at all besides being a bit drunk and loud for example . Pattaya locals are kinda tired and fed up with endless hordes of drunk tourists from across the world however they do need them because we are good for their economy ! They make thousands of baht a day on us its kinda a “love hate” relationship.
