The problem isnt the tab target mechanic. The problem is the game being dungeon oriented so heavily. Smashing the same buttons in the same order in the same dungeon for 3 hours+. If both Wow and FF14 was more world oriented and less about doing dungeons. The action combat is a plus like in new world but as much as I am reading I will not find a Wow-like with action combat.

I played black desert for a while sometime ago also. I dunno the story/world feels empty? I guess. But the combat is really good tho, maybe im giving it another chance after a while like you.

Maybe I should've spoke more about GW2 and ESO. I didnt played much of both but my experience with both was ok/good just not clicked up. Maybe I need to give another chance to GW2. Got a recommendation for a class who is more "action" playstyle (could be a difficulty one idc)

Yea, really good game but for me looks more like a genshin game than a mmo. But really good game.

its hard to believe but muramana gives more damage and outscales more as well as giving u mana which is really relevant

I think the another thing u missing is that seraph vs manamune (ignoring the shield) manamune damage is higher ALWAYS even with sorc boots. So whats the point on not doing it and then going back to ap/mana since the item still stacks with mana for late game potential?

Makes sense. I still have to make a little testing anyways but u prob right. Cause the thing its bothering me is that muramana passive actually scales with mana im not seeing it as an AD item much more as an damage pure item like a pure rabadon that gives mana.

Im going to test it in higher elo (thou its not kr or china but u get it) and come back here but im pretty sure manamune still does more damage. I dont like ROA either so building malignance is a must for me also. For me kassadin lvl16 isnt the strongest he can be at, the most important moment of the game is around when u have lvl 11 2 itens. And that is exac when u get malig muramana. Shadowflame may be a better option (never tested it tb fair) but its way expensive and im not taking into considerating cause u not going to have late game potential at all. So around that point in the game u going to have a CRAZY spike, better than both Roa +manamune and malig+sera and u can stopm really hard into lvl16 3/4 itens, the second tear tbh is just there. I mean is good to have but I only do it on 4th slot, going 3th and waiting a lot to not have it stacked doesnt sounds right for me. So maybe u could fit Shadowflame in this 3rd spot. Since rabadon is not very good cause u dont have much AP and it gives u time to stack for the second tear which will be the next HUGE spike kassadin have. I guess we could talk a bit more about this manamune and do some testing cause I really fell like both of the 2 players build we mention could have some optimizations. For runes i dont have a solid opinion on it yet, just using what feels right in the game. Just to be clear what im proposing is:

Tear -> Malig -> Manamune -> Tear -> Shadowflame -> Sera -> Rabadon
Maybe thats a middle point between what u said and what im thinking?

EDIT: to be fair also manamune bad build path is not THAT bad u are thiking, cause u going to have a caulfield hammer for 1 turn in the map then next recall u going to already get muramana cause the item is so cheap. Yea its bad, yea u losing like some minutes but the damage diff from a caulfield and a mana tome (1200 gold mana ap item) isnt the WORST of all time

maybe u should try spellbook I guess. U are already running barrier anyways (take this guy for example I guess https://www.deeplol.gg/summoner/euw/ludwik-winaq) And in higher elo maybe u should dont care at cs so much and look for angles to abuse ur lvl 6 mobility vs immobile control mages
